Locations, categories & collections
Three ways to organise: where it lives, what it is, and your own groupings.
Steps
- Step 1
Open your inventory and regroup it: All, By Location, By Category, or By Collection.
- Step 2
On the web app, browse Places or Collections in the sidebar; the inventory table sorts by any column.
- Step 3
Narrow the list with sort & filter — by status, location, and more.
- Step 4
Set an item's location, category, and collections on its record — change them any time.

Location
Where an item physically lives — Garage, Kitchen drawer. Can nest inside each other.

Category
What kind of thing it is — Electronics & Tech, Tools & DIY. Unlocks type-specific detail fields.

Collection
Your own grouping across locations — Camping gear, Grandma's china. Shared with your family.
