How Keeper of Things works

Snap a photo of your stuff — AI catalogues each item for you.

Steps

  1. Step 1

Snap a photo of a shelf, drawer, or room.

  2. Step 2

On the web app, drag photos onto the window, or use Add → Upload photos.

  3. Step 3

AI detects the items in it.

  4. Step 4

Review and confirm — saved items are cropped from your photo.

  5. Step 5

Find anything later: browse your inventory, or search by name, place, or meaning.

In depth

Keeper of Things is a photo-first inventory. Instead of typing an item in at a time, you photograph a shelf, a drawer, or a whole corner of a room, and the app proposes the individual items it can see. You keep the ones that are right, correct anything that isn't, and the rest never reaches your catalogue.

One photo, one batch to review

Each photo you take becomes its own detection batch. Detection runs in the background, so you can keep snapping — up to ten photos in a run — while earlier photos are still being processed. Home shows a badge as each batch becomes ready.

Nothing is added to your inventory until you confirm it. Review is where you rename an item, drop a detection that was really the background, or set the location and category before saving. When you confirm a batch, each saved item gets its own picture, cropped out of the photo you took.

What costs a credit, and what doesn't

Sending a photo to the AI costs one credit. That is the only thing that does — editing items, moving them, adding photos of your own, and adding an item by hand are always free, on every plan, including when your credits have run out.
